Posted by Ozi - 19/06/09 at 09:06:04 pmFinally it happened. Masters of re-coding over @ dev-team blog just did it again and now we can all be part of the new 3.0 software. I am doing it (escaping from prison), as we speak, so there could be more about it later on. All you guys (and gals) just grab the stuff from the right torrent site, noted @ their HQ!

WWDC 2009
Posted by Ozi - 08/06/09 at 06:06:07 pmI guess all the Apple’s g33ks ‘n’ fans are tuned at various live streams at the moment and waiting, drooling, waiting and drooling again around news and upcoming updates from Apple.
Best thigns so far:
- cheaper and refreshed laptop series (available later today – Apple stores are closed at the moment)
- SD integrated (finally!!!)
- new QuickTime is just awesome; like frameless and completely rewritten
- Safari 4.0 will be launched / available later today
A lot of goodies and improvements in Snow Leopard and a LOT faster and smaller installation comparing to Leopard:
- most apps will be running in 64bit mode
- multi-threading implementation
- super faster Safari browser compared to IE8…
- super faster .jpeg and .pdf managing (opening)
- Mail get EXCHANGE support (yep, it’s a neccessary)
If you’d like to be tuned also, just check the stream at the Gizmodos.
Apple store under maintenance?
Posted by Ozi - 03/03/09 at 01:03:55 pmIt seems so! You can go and check it by yourself. I think we all know what this1 means!

a new Apple Event on the horizon?
Posted by Ozi - 02/03/09 at 10:03:49 pmAgain, speculations. But, I wouldn’t mention it if it weren’t serious ones. On the 24th of March a new Apple Events is about1 to happen. What will they bring us? A new MAC pro? Maybe an iPhone? New AppleTV, perhaps?2. We’ll just have to wait for a couple of weeks more…
new iMACs and MACminis, tomorrow?!
Posted by Ozi - 02/03/09 at 10:03:24 pmYeah! It’s finally supposed to happen. There are rumors rushing the web saying it WILL happen. And it should happen tomorrow. We can’t wait! Well, I can’t wait as I am about to buy myself a new iMAC soon1. There were speculations on when the new models would come and I guess they were right. It was said it is to happen in March.
First confirmed details from a very trustworthy source tells us that the new iMac models and their corresponding references are:
- MB417: Entry level model
- MB418: “Mass market” model
- MB419: high-end model
- MB420: ultimate model
The entry level model should come with a 20″ display, while the three other models will feature a 24″ panel…

Safari 4.0 public (beta)
Posted by Ozi - 24/02/09 at 07:02:59 pmAvailable to download! Wooo-hoooo! That’s what we’ve been waiting for! This super-trooper release includes over 100 or to be precise, 150 features1! The ones I missed the most were definitely instant Google search, java support, etc. Very sleek are also the the top visited sites, full history search and cover flow features. And there’s a lot more to it!
Go get it, go grab it!
EDIT: And here’s the first bug I’ve noticed in Safari 4.0 beta. While working with WordPress2, the pop-up function (e.g. while inserting URLs) doesn’t work. It’s all grayed out. Auch! Keepin’ me fingers crossed!
TV + XBMC + NAS = !!!
Posted by Ozi - 29/01/09 at 05:01:19 pmKončno sem si vzel toliko časa, da sem v miru skonfiguriral NFS protokol do WDjevega NASa. 4TB prostora, Japka, WLAN in XBMC za zaganjalno platoformo skupaj tvorijo skoraj idealen HTPC.
v letu 2009 bom:
Posted by Ozi - 09/01/09 at 12:01:26 pm- bolje pazil na svoje stvari (v prvem tednu novega leta sem namreč razsul LCD zaslon svojega MBP-ja) *šmrk*
- se pravočasno opominjal na pomembnejše datume (new year wishes are gone, doh!)
- več časa posvetil pisanju bloga takrat, ko mi dvigne pisker (ne pa pljuval, svinjal, preklinjal, bljuval, se zgražal, zaničeval, poniževal, šikaniral, diskriditiral
- se v nasprotju s krizmi časi, sekiral manj in smejal bolj
